I will die

I, I will die in this social wilderness, probably alone. My bones and my skin will be lost from view. And there are those who knew me in the past who will shake their head and say and say, He didn’t do much for this world after all, didn’t leave much of a mark. Too bad! He, he had such potential.

My only answer to this is scripture.

Lay not up for yourselves Treasures on Earth where moth and rust corrupt and thieves break in and steal and destroy.

I could still be wrong but I would just as soon be wrong in this direction than in yours. I left my mark but you can’t see it from where you stand.
