Marching On

This is kind of a resurrection, maybe. I’ve been away from this blog so long it might seem like it to some of you. I’ve been on Instagram, if you follow me there, and that has become somewhat of a blog-in-kind. But here is the news you normally get.

The Family

Biggest new in the last several months has been family. One of my daughters got married and I took an out-of-state trip to be there. So good to be there with and for here. She’s marrying in to a great family there. The only downside is that I’ll miss her here.

Big news, but not as good: I ‘blew up’ my knee just before Christmas and am just now beginning to get back to normal. It is a much longer process than I had hoped it would be. But it’s progress, in the right direction.

The House

I wish there was more progress on the house. I am ready for all the work to be done. It’s not. I have several more wishes along those lines, but the facts are different: its work, and it’s for me to do. Wiring, plumbing, sheetrock—all that and more to come. But even slow progress is good. This is good.

The Writing

Finally, I am beginning to write again. The distractions have kept me mostly away from it, but I have the beginnings of a “real” Vampire story. I’ve had several requests to go down that lane, with some added sweet romance. I’ll give it a shot.

That’s my life at this point. I am preparing to reissue the first Tina book, new cover and better revision of text. Keep an eye out!

That’s all for now.

Keep Reading and writing
