Slow is not my favorite speed. In fact, I have been called impatient by a few of those who know me well. They are wrong, of course. I’m simply being jealous of the time I have left on the planet.  According to the DeathClock, I am  running very quickly out of time to finish whatever work I have here. Not that I am particularly worried either way.

But it has been slow work to put up this site. Between my need to revise just one more time before i post it and the normal interruptions of life, getting this site up is taking “too long”!

I’m doing it myself (yes, an independent cuss!) and I don’t love this kind of work. But I am fussy. So I will battle through to the end.  The hardest part for me is to decide what to leave off the site even more than what to put on it. What is on here now is it, for now. I think it gives you the reader a good sense of what I can do, what I sound like as I write. And maybe even something personal about myself. So, get to know me. Get to know my style.
